2025-26 JLM Class Applications Are Now Open!
Applications to be a part of the 2025-26 Junior Leadership Manatee class are due July 30, 2025. Tuition cost is $200 which covers 5 chartered bus rides, 6 lunches, snacks, shirt and graduation meal. Full scholarships available. Please contact chair@juniorleadershipmanatee.org with any questions. Program requirements are listed below:
Applicant requirements:
- Must be a high school sophomore to apply and a high school junior at the time of participation (Junior for the 2024/25 school year).
- Must have a minimum 2.5 unweighted GPA.
- Must attend a mandatory Orientation in September and all program days. (Missing more than one program day may result in being ineligible to complete the program.)
2 Ways to Apply:
- Complete an online application AND (1) Submit the essay portion to chair@juniorleadershipmanatee.org and (2) ask two references to complete an Online Reference Form.
- If you cannot complete an online application, request a PDF or hard copy by sending an email to chair@juniorleadershipmanatee.org.
Teen Court Dates
Schedule
Teen Court is normally held on Tuesdays from 5:15 to 7:15 PM. Please check the Clerk of Manatee County Website for the most current schedule and to check for any cancellation or other notifications. For more information, email Vicky Alvarez, Teen Court Coordinator. Please take a copy of the Teen Court form (download above), have it signed by a Teen Court representative and scan/email to chair@juniorleadershipmanatee.org or turn in on Government & Law Day.
